BRINGING A TOUCH OF FRANCE TO NEW ZEALAND
I’ve been so happy to help out with the latest Alliance Francaise French Film Festival in New Zealand. I’ve been editing together a series of interviews from the stars of the festival films, which the festival sourced from Unifrance in Paris. My favourite one is French actress Catherine Frot talking about her latest role in Les Saveurs du Palais (Haute Cuisine) by Christian Vincent. In the film, she plays the role of Danièle Mazet-Delpeuch, who was the first lady to be appointed the private chef of the French president. I was lucky to meet the lovely Danièle at the opening night of the festival in Wellington. She is such an inspirational lady – we even tried some of her recipes for our Easter lunch this year!
