Shoefiti believes in collaborating with creative and promising directors that share a strong visual universe.Guillaume Beck proposed a script adapted from one of his comics called John is Black & White and soon got Fred involved in the creative process. The main idea was to make a short animated clip from the comic that presents the distinctive feature to have scenery made from digitalized pictures in black and white, then to draw the characters over it. A blanket becomes a mountain, a bookshelf a dangerous cliff… the possibilities are without boundaries.
